YOUR ITINERARY:

Day 2: Arrive Cairo. Upon arrival in the bustling capital Cairo, you will be met and escorted to your centrally located deluxe hotel. Unpack and relax. Conrad Hotel

Day 3: Your morning excursion starts with a visit to the three great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Proceed to visit the renowned Egyptian Museum. After lunch, visit the Citadel, the Sultan Hasan Mosque and the unique Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. (B,L)

Day 4: Cairo/Aswan. Morning flight to Aswan where you'll be at leisure for the balance of the day. You may join an optional air-excursion to Abu Simbel (approx. $190 per person). Sofitel Hotel (B)

Day 5: Today you'll be transferred to your luxury cruise boat. In the afternoon relax on an Egyptian sailboat, a "felucca", on your way to Elphantine Island to see the Agha Khan Mausoleum. King of Thebes or Ramses King of the Nile cruise boat (B,L,D)

Day 6: Aswan/Kom Ombo. Morning visit the High Dam and the Philae's Temple of Isis. Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Ptolemaic Temple built for Horus and Sobek. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Kom Ombo/Edfu/Esna/Luxor. Sail to Edfu and see the 2000-year-old Temple of Horus, the Sun God. This afternoon sail via Esna to Kom Ombo (B,L,D)

Day 8: Luxor. Today, viisit Valley of Kings where 64 of Egypt's Pharaohs have their resting places carved out of the sheer rock, the Colossi of Memnon and the magnificent desert structure of the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Luxor/Cairo (Heliopolis. This morning disembark your cruise ship and visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor as well as the Avenue of the Sphinxes. Later, fly back to Cairo. Sonesta Heliopolis Hotel (B)

Day 10: Cairo/USA. Early morning transfer to the airport where you'll bid farewell to fascinating Egypt. Your exciting journey ends as you arrive New York this afternoon. (B)
