YOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Depart USA/Arrive Tahiti. Your fascinating “Down Under” journey begins this afternoon as you board your flight bound for the beautiful paradise island of Tahiti. Upon arrival late this evening you’ll be welcomed with a traditional floral lei and escorted to your upscale beachfront resort hotel. Sofitel Tahiti Resort

Day 2 & 3: Tahiti. Two full days at leisure to admire Tahiti’s natural beauty and the rich and exotic Polynesian culture. Take advantage of an optional guided tour of Tahiti’s main island, taking in numerous scenic spots as well as the colorful central market of the capital, Papeete. You may also visit the lovely James Norman Hall home, dedicated to the co-author of The Mutiny on the Bounty. Perhaps take a short catamaran ride across the bay to Tahiti’s stunning sister island, Moorea where ample sightseeing opportunities are available. Enjoy the amazing ocean views as you relax at the your hotel’s beach or the pool. (B)

Day 4: Tahiti/Sydney. Early this morning depart for Sydney. Cross the International Date Line and lose one day en route. You’ll regain this day when flying back home from Australia!

Day 5: Arrive Sydney (Australia). Morning arrival in Sydney, Australia’s oldest and most vibrant city. An included guided tour takes in the old and the new. See Harbor Bridge, Sydney’s famous beaches including Bondi Beach, the Botanical Gardens, the celebrated Opera House and the historic Rocks area. Later this afternoon, join a welcome briefing at your centrally located hotel. Menzies Hotel

Day 6 through 9: Four days at leisure to explore fascinating Sydney, recent host to the Olympic Games. Your superior first class hotel is ideally located in the city center near scenic Sydney Harbor and the renowned Opera House within easy access to restaurants, shopping and many other city attractions. Your local host can suggest optional tours or ideas for independent exploring and dining. You may join an optional Coffee Cruise or dinner cruise on spectacular Sydney Harbor. On another optional excursion you’ll visit the Blue Mountains and Australia Wildlife Park, where you can cuddle a Koala. (B)

Day 10: Depart Sydney/USA. This morning, bid farewell to Sydney and board your return flight. Your memorable journey ends as you touch down in the USA later today (B)
